Today the youth began indoor practices on both the youth flag football and the youth tennis. The youth tennis runs from 3:15pm - 4:00pm and the youth Flag Football runs from 4:30pm - 5:30pm. Since both of these programs takes place on the same day that I have to be at the Hazel Park Recreation Center, I am not able to stay for the full hour for the youth Flag Football. I am able to attend for approximately 45 minutes.
The youth tennis is quite interesting because as a teenager, I was always interested in playing the sport but my schedule did not permit me to do so while in high school. Before making sure that the youth signed in for practice, I assisted the tennis coach with retrieving the equipment from the storage area; tennis balls, brackets, setting up the net etc.
For the youth flag football, my duties were the same; to assist with getting equipment and making sure that the players have all signed in. I also had to assist with transferring the tennis equipment back to the storage section of the building.
